Volleyball- Logan style

Last Saturday Ethan had his last club volleyball tournament.  This was his 4th since the middle of October.  It just happened to be up in Logan so we decided to make a little family adventure out of it.

First stop- Delicious Maddox for dinner

 Next- night swimming at the hotel.  These are the kind of family memories I hope my kids remember.  Having fun together.

 Getting to have lunch and hang out with Maddie Duncan.  She is one of Afton and Lilly's favorite people who is currently going to school in Logan. 

 And of course a stop at Gossners for some

cheese curds, boxed milk and ice cream.

Festival of Trees

Liz had the opportunity to play for the Festival of Trees this year with The Canyons Youth Symphony.  I did something I never do and checked the 4th graders out of school to go see her and check out the trees.  It was a good afternoon playing hooky.  My parents also met up with us.  I just forgot to get a picture of them.

Jim's Birthday!!!!

We have had another birthday in our house!!!!
I found this picture from 20 years ago and thought it would be fun to revisit for 2017 birthday :)

Each year when someone's birthday rolls around we do a birthday spotlight where the  birthday guest gets to think of questions about themselves and the rest of us try to answer.

For his birthday this year I gave Jim some tickets for him and Lizzie to go down to Vegas for a little bit.  

Jim and Lizzie were extra helpers with the triplet cousins at GilChrist Farm and Sanctuary.

Earlier tonight we went over to my parents house for some pumpkin carving.  Another fun night celebrating the fall season.

The weather, company and evening were perfect!

Harrison Halloween Party 2017

Tom and Stacey hosted the annual Harrison Halloween party.  It is always a fun night together.  Extra bonus because now I know each of our costumes are done and I don't have to worry about it.   I also  do most of the pictures of kids in their costumes this night so I don't have to worry about it on Halloween.  Win/win.
