Here is a brief recap of the girls birthday. I love the fact that they are still so easy to please.
- Earlier in the day I took them to Harmons and let them pick out a Mylar baloon. Lilly picked Ariel and Afton Care Bears. They were so excited and LOVED watching the lady blow up their balloon.
- I let them pick out a lunchable at the store for lunch. They always think this special treat is so cool.
That night we had family over for a celebration. Here are a few pictures. Thank you to all for coming and helping us celebrate these two girls being in our family.
I love this picture that Lizzie took because it shows how small my "big girls" still are :)
Opening Presents. After each one Lilly would ask "More presents?"
Helmets for their new scooters. Well technically Afton got a new scooter and Lilly got Lizzie's old one. But don't tell Lilly :)
With their cupcakes
On a funny note, it has been a couple days and Afton still insists she is two. Lilly on the other hand is very happy to be three :)
I know this adorable chubby face won't last forever. Oh, how I love it.

Three!
How can these cute, crazy, precious, trouble makers be 3 on March 25th? I have been having a hard time knowing my youngest will soon be three. And yes we are still 99% sure we are done having kids (Heavenly Father may have a different plan and if that is the case we would accept him or her with surprised but open arms.) I think it just hits harder as your youngest grow up.
Despite my denial (and a few tears that they are 3) here are some fun facts about the girls
Afton- This girl just melts my heart. . What she lacks for in listening and staying out of trouble skills she definitely makes up for in being the cutest, kindest, sweetest, girl.
1. She loves to cudddle and give hugs and kisses
2. Favorite saying is "Me do it!"
3. Loves being outside wether it is warm or cold. She has even learned to get her snowsuit and boots on herself because her mom got tired of always putting them on. She is loving this spring weather and loves to explore the backyard almost all day long.
Lilly- she is what we like to call our evil genuis. We mean that in the most loving way of course :)
1. She can say and recognize all her ABC's,knows her colors, counts to 20, tells you the sounds of some letters, sings many many songs from memory, makes up her own songs and has started to quote movies.
2. Loves to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Johnny Depp version). Lilly calls it "Willy Wonka movie." She really just loves to watch TV and movies and probably would watch all day if I let her.
3. She currently is in a screaming phase whenever she is frusterated and doesn't care if we are at church, library, store, etc. to show her screaming skills.
