Lagoon- It's what fun is!

As a pretty impromptu decision last Friday (August 21st) we decided to try and squeeze in a little more summer fun and headed to Lagoon.  We told the kids like 10 minutes after they were all home from school and got into the car.  We got to Lagoon about 4:20 and then stayed till 11.  It was super fun!!!!
Wish more evenings could end hanging out at Lagoon :)

Afton was ready for a lot more of the bigger rides than Lilly this year.
She went on the Bat, Wild Mouse and even big white Roller Coaster :)
We did get both of them on the Spider though which was pretty cool!

They rarely want to match anymore but when they do..... oh my gosh!
It is so cute!  Here they are waiting in line for Tilt-A-Whirl.

Afton and Lilly's thoughts after finishing up on Rattlesnake Rapids.

Second time on Rattlesnake Rapids- Afton and Lilly
didn't want to go so I took Ethan and Lizzie.

My children were no help protecting their mom who clothes and feeds them  from the waterfall.  :)  In fact, Ethan did everything he could to make sure I was right under it.  You know, like make no room for me to move over until it was too late.     I was pretty much soaked the rest of the day :)  We were all laughing so hard so I guess it was worth it :)

I realized this may be the girls last year that they will want to ride in Kiddieland.
We will have to see what next time brings.

I know it's a little blurry but I just love these kids!!!

Lilly loved the Merry-Go-Round.

Rockport Water Fun

Last weekend (August 7th-8th)   we got to hang out with some of our very favorite friends for about 24 hours.  We hung out at the Duncans cabin Friday night and had a BBQ  out on the deck and then we played a few games inside.  The next day we all went to Rockport.  It was so fun to be on the boat, do some tube riding and wave riders and catch some sun. I don't think I have gone boating ever or so long ago I don't remember.  It was way fun!!!!
Yes, that is Ethan driving a 4 wheeler

Hannah taking Afton and Lilly for a ride

Of course we stopped at our property since we were just down the street.
Here is the view from our property as of August 8th 2015

Higlets

Last week (August 2nd-6th) I was able to go down to Vegas and spend some time with Liz and the babies.  Nate was out of town for work so I'm glad I was able to go down and help out.  Those babies are so darn cute!!!  It reminded me so much of holding my own 4 kids when they were once babies and how precious that time was. Which by the way seems like just yesterday!!
I was reminded also of the busyness of having multiples
(although triplets is a different story for sure).

4 straight days of girl talk, eating good food and snuggling with babies.
 It was really nice!

3 cute babies hanging out after feeding time
(Asher- green/ Isaac-blue/ Annalisa-pink)

We practiced venturing out into the world.
What better place to start than Target right?

Me with cute little Asher.  He wanted to see where he was going.

Isaac loves to smile (and make bird squawking sounds)

There there Annalisa,  I promise aunt Alisha will come back and visit soon.

Feeding time

Meeting of the minds..... planning their day

Selfie with Isaac

My favorite picture from the trip.
I miss holding them so much already!

Each night I would facetime Jim and the kids.
One night Jim decided to put me in one of my shirts :)

Last day with these cute kiddos :(

I was welcomed home to Jim,  four cute kids,
roses, Nibs, a coke and chocolate covered cinnamon bears!!!!
As much as I loved every minute with Liz and the babies
it was nice to come home and see these guys!
