April

Some other happenings from April.....

April 2nd- Priesthood conference.  Jim always brings me home a dozen roses after Priesthood.  Ethan also brought home a rose for each of his sisters.

Soccer- Our Tuesday nights are now filled with soccer games for Afton and Lilly.  I have never signed them up for any kind of sport.  They have loved it and it has been fun to watch them play

April 12th- On this night Nate and Liz and the babies met up with us at the end of the soccer game.  We hung out at the park for a little bit.

April 12th- I tried calamari for the first time.  Not too bad

April 19th-  Ethan and I went and saw Peter and the Starcatcher.  Ethan had read these books a couple years ago and really liked them.  They play was good but VERY different than any I had been too.  Almost an all male cast and men as mermaids, singing on swings.  Yep, you heard me right :)

April 24th- This girl FINALLY lost her front top tooth.  It had been really wiggly for almost a week.  Finally we told her she could sell tickets and have people pay to have her tooth pulled out.  Even our neighbor came over for the show.  I just love these kind of smiles.

Lilly's cute note to the tooth fairy.

April 25th- 29th-   So April 27th was Secretaries Day.  My school is just plain awesome and they decided to celebrate all week.  We were spoiled with treats, gift cards, flowers, singing, etc.  I am so lucky to work at Altara Elementary and be able to work in the office with Wendi and Peggy.

April 30th- a group of us went to The Escape Key.  We did have an advantage as 3 people in our group had already attempted the room a couple weeks before.  Still defeated it though :)

14

Another birthday for Ethan.....
How can my boy already be 14?
He is such an amazing kid and we are
lucky to have him in our family.

We had a family party.
It was extra nice because Nate and Liz and the cute babies were in town because of Afton and Lilly's baptism.
Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures at the party.  Aunt Liz happened to have this one :)

For his friend party they went to The Escape Key.  It is a mystery room where you try to solve different puzzles and clues.  Ethan has such a great group of friends right now which I am very grateful for.

Adi, Daniel, Josh, Nick, Ethan, Jim, Colin, Tanner

And what's a birthday without a trip to Leatherby's :)

Happy Birthday Ethan!!!!

Baptism Day

Afton and Lilly's big day finally arrived-
April 16, 2016

Jim and I are so proud of them for the decision they made to be baptized.  We are grateful for those that shared this special day with us.

Just one of the very delicious desserts we had

Adorable girls in front of the baptism font

Maya Bingham from our ward also got baptized with the girls.

Jim baptized them.  What lucky girls!

Adorable!

Proud mom!

Jim and I are very lucky to call these two our daughters.

Some of the fun guests included Uncle Nate and Aunt Liz and their cute kids who drove up from Vegas for the baptism

Afton and Lilly's special friend Reagan Buchmiller was there too.  These 3 are such cute, good friends.

Lilly's 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Bradshaw was
so sweet to come for Lilly.

With their new scriptures!

Such a happy day for our family.

So proud of Ethan for giving a talk AND playing a piano song at the baptism.  Lizzie gave an opening prayer.
Thank you!
It was nice to be able to have our
older kids be a part of Afton and Lilly's baptism day.

White Dresses

I took Afton and Lilly to Fotofly to have their baptism pictures taken.
I just love all of them and it so was hard to choose a few to put here :)
