So lucky to work with these ladies!

Even Jim, Becky and Sarah at work wanted
to get in on the "day" pictures :)

First day of school dinner.
I really did not want to cook after almost 2 weeks of working full time, so Papa Murphy's came to the rescue.  Half all meat and half gourmet vegetarian - our families favorite.

Only 179 more school days to go till next summer.

Back to School Cousin Party

We had our annual Cousin Back to School Party the night of August 21st.  Nice to have everyone together and to spotlight them.  Crazy that this year we spotlighted some high schoolers.

13 of the 16 Harrison grandchildren in age order.
Age 14 to almost 3 years old.  Missing the cute Higley babies.

Each grouping of kids:)

Our kids.

Echo Lake

Yesterday (August 13th) we were able to go boating with some of our good friends.  It was us, Roberts, Hadfield and Sierer families.  It was a good day just hanging out, having fun and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Echo Lake.

Lizzie, Ethan and Jim right after we got there.

The Roberts brought up some  kid kayaks.  Just perfect for Afton and Lilly

Me and my Lilly Bill

Tube riding- It was so fun to watch the kids on the "crazy" rides.
Even Jim and I went on a couple times.
It is terrifyingly fun for sure :)

Getting ready to head out on a tubing adventure.  Afton is on the far right.

Look at these cute girls!!!

Dads on the "mellow" ride with Lilly and Greta.
Don't worry Jim went on a crazy ride earlier.  So crazy in fact, that the tube flipped and everyone (Jim, Jaren, Owen) but Lizzie flew out.

More cute girls!

Afton was so fun to watch on the kayak. She would keep getting on it and go for a little time out on the lake.   She seemed to really love and it looked like such a natural out there.  So proud of her.
All the kids played in the sand making creations.  Pure childhood happiness

The moms (minus Julieann)
Stacey, me and Jody.

A good day at the lake needs to end with a relaxing foot picture right? :)

Lemonade Stand

Afton  and Lilly have been begging me all summer to do a lemonade stand.  Since I start work on August 15th, I was on countdown.  So August 11th, was the day.  They were so excited making their signs and getting everything ready.

Lemonade and Otter Pops 25 cents, Airheads 10 cents and some left over firework Pandas 10 cents.

Here they are with one of the signs they made.

All ready to sell

Customers!

I had advertised for them on Facebook and Instagram.  We seriously have some of the best family, friends and neighbors that came out to support these girls.  It just makes my heart happy.

Daughter Day

The day after I got back from Vegas I was able to spend a lot of time just with my 3 daughters.  It was quite nice.  Especially since I had been away from them for 4 days.  First I was able to go to an Activity Days event with our neighborhood girls (which included Afton and Lilly) up to This is the Place Monument.  It is such a fun place that I had never really been to.  Then that night me and my girls went out to dinner and to see Beauty and the Beast at Hale Theater.

Look at all these Activity Day age girls in our neighborhood.
22 of them!

Afton with a couple of her favorite friends from the neighborhood.
Hailey Bodell and Savannah Sierer

Panning for gold :)
So that night I took my 3 girls out to dinner at Blue Lemon.  One of my favorite places.

Our evening ended with Beauty and the Beast at Hale Theater.  It was amazing and probably my favorite one that I have seen so far there.

A&E Vegas Trip

Ethan and I were able to go down to Vegas for 4 days last week and stay with the Higley's.  It was so fun to bring Ethan with me and watch him play with his three little cousins.  Aunt Liz was such a big part of his life when he was a baby- so it was very sweet to see him hold and play with her babies.

On the plane ready to go to Las Vegas.  Ethan hadn't been on a plan since he was 5.
I personally don't really like flying.  Ethan though it was amazing.

We ventured out to a place called Seven Magic Mountains.
Basically a 3.5 million dollar project to paint some rocks very bright colors :)
Me and the cuteness of Annalisa

The oldest and youngest grandchildren on the Harrison side- Ethan (14) and Isaac (19 monthsish)
Well at least for a few more weeks until Ruth has her baby.

With Nate's help we were able to surprise Ethan with a special trip.
Ethan and Nate went and saw Cirque de Soleil Mystere.

Ethan was so good with his cousins playing with them and helping them explore the world.

The cats really liked Ethan.  Kathryn got on his lap a few times.
Here she is hanging out with Ethan for breakfast.

Me and Liz

Just look at these cuties!

A few last day pictures.
So glad we were able to go down and spend time with these 3 and their parents.

On the plane ready to go back home to Jim and my babies

BACK ON THE HOMEFRONT......

While we were gone Jim took the 3 girls and dog camping overnight.
What a good (and brave) dad.
