May= Busiest Month Ever!

There is just so much STUFF going on in the month of May. Here is a glimpse from our incredibly busy month...... that includes recitals (piano, dance), end of year school programs, end of year parties, field trips, etc.

Here is how you try to keep track of a family of 6 for a very busy month!

May 5th- Afton and Lilly's dance recital.  Such cute dancers!!!
This is behind the scenes at The Rose Wagner Theater.

May 7th- a cute little 3 year old neighbor boy gave these to me.
  Totally made my day!

May 9th- Ethan finished up his first volleyball season through Dimple Dell

May 12th- Because sometimes even when you are dressed up like Snow White,
you still need to go on a scooter ride.

May 12th-  Right before bed, Lilly wrote me this list.  It shows her personality perfectly.  You know like organizing by categories, wanting to add to her dress collection, a board for a  school report (she loves school), she only likes one kind of toothpaste and of course what 7 year old doesn't like bubbles. :)

May 22nd- There was a day when Elementary kids were out but not Middle School.  Thus, I got to hang out with my 3 girls.  We went and got lunch at Chick-Fil-A then headed to Draper Park.  It was very nice!

May 22nd- Going out with co-workers and spouses to Epic.  I have co-workers!  I haven't had that for over 12 years.  I really enjoy working with these people and am so lucky I get to spend my days with them.

May 23rd-   Lilly's outing with mom.  We went miniature golfing at Mulligans

May 23rd-Evening trip to Draper Park

Lizzie and Sarah at Draper Park
May 25th-  Lizzie and I went to the half price Memorial Day sale at Savers.  We found this shirt.  It says "Free Hugs".  Weird and creepy.  Lizzie is only allowed to wear it as a pajama shirt and never out in public.  Her clown Chuckles approves of the purchase :)

May 29th- 1st grade trip to the Wetlands.  This will be my last time going on this field trip.  I went when both Ethan and Lizzie were in 1st grade.  Bittersweet.

May 29th-  5th Grade State Fair.  The bulk of the month of May Lizzie was working on her state report.  She had Oregon.  She did a great job doing her report, making her tri-board, presenting, gathering artifacts, etc.  Unfortunately, this is the only picture we took that shows anything from all her hard work.  A rat we turned into an Oregon beaver :)
May 29th-Jim was out of town the last weekend of May for a conference in Vegas.  I took these pictures for him and texted them to him because I knew he really missed me and Lucky :)

May 30th- The Young Men and Young Women in our ward did a 6.5 mile temple walk from our church to the Draper Temple.  I am so glad Ethan gets to have moments like these.
May 30th- One of Lizzie's friends (Eva) threw an end of school party.
Here is an amazing group of kids in a bounce house.

May 31st- Here's a quick picture before we headed off to church.

So freaking cute!!!!

We made it to the end of May!!!!  Yahoo!!!!!

Payson Temple Open House

Last night we were able to walk through the new Payson Temple.  It was absolutely gorgeous.  They definitely didn't skimp on any detail.  I love that fact that with these open houses we can walk through as a family.  Being with my little family in the celestial room is just perfect.   Just in the past few years we have been able to go as a family in the Draper Temple, Ogden Temple and now Payson Temple.   It is fun to show the kids places in the temple that are my favorite and share my testimony of eternal families. As an extra bonus we went down with our really good friends the Sierer's.

First our group of twelve stopped at Five Guys for a little dinner

And of course since we were near Utah County we stopped at Krispy Kremes for some doughnuts.  They were just finishing making a batch so we got to watch it a little.  Then they gave us a warm delicious glazed doughnut right off the line.  Of course we bough some more too since it is hard to stop at just one.
