"Jim Day" 2015

It is time once again for another celebration of Jim day!  One June 26th, we headed up to our property for a picnic lunch,  Then we went fishing a little at Smith Morehouse.  On our way home we stopped at Polar King for some dinner and shakes.  We finished up the day by doing a little geocaching on the way home.

Vegas!

For the weekend of June 19th- 21st we had a very special reason to visit  Las Vegas at it's hottest time.  
 Three new cousins were having their baby blessing :)  

 While there we took advantage of visiting a few places like Cowabunga Bay, Carlos Bakery, site of Pawn Stars, M&M world, Hershey store and Coke store.  

But the most important and best reason was being able to hold three way cute babies and say Hi to Nate and Liz!!!

June 19th- 

Right when we got there we went to go visit some babies.

Later that evening we went to Cowabunga Bay.
 It was lots of fun and much bigger and better than the one here in Draper.

June 20th

I bought something from Carlo's Bakery!!!  I was quite excited!

So hard to choose.  All the baked good were beautiful but also $$$$$.  Ethan and I shared one.  Afton and Lizzie shared one and then Jim and Lilly each got a little cookie.

When we went to Silver and Gold Pawn Store there was also one of the people that is on Pawn Stars.  He is the Clark County Museums curator Mark Hall- Patton.  Pretty awesome that he was there. 

After the Pawn Store we went to the baby blessing.

Later that night we headed back to the Strip....

It was a really fun quick trip. Next time we will probably go when it is a little cooler.  That 112 weather is crazy!

Wasatch Mountain State Park

We went to to hang out with my parents for a little while (June 12th and 13th)  at Wasatch Mountain State Park. 

It was gorgeous up there and we had a nice time.

Summer is here!!!

So excited that summer break is here!!! 

 We had a very busy but fun  couple weeks celebrating!

 Last Day of School Friday June 5th

 S'more Party

June 5th

Every year we do an end of year S'more Party with friends in the neighborhood.  

This year it was at our house.  

We stayed up until 12:30 or so laughing and

 talking around the fire with good friends.

On Saturday June 6th we went down to Provo with our
good friends the Sierer's to see The Princess Academy being performed. 

Monday's are our Library Day.
 This is basically what the kids do the rest of the day with their new books :)

 Tuesdays we go swimming at an outdoor pool.  

Today (June 9th) we went to Draper Pool. 

 Oh, how I love this pool and it was nice to be back.

On Wednesday mornings Lizzie and a couple of her friends do a Summer Playgroup for kids in the neighborhood.  The first one's theme (June 10th) was "If You Give A Pig A Pancake".  I thought these turned out pretty cute. 

 I let each of the kids have a night to invite friends over to celebrate the end of school.

June 10th

Thursday June 11th- 

I took my girls and a couple neighborhood kids (Sarah and Owen) to the Living Planet Aquarium

June 11th- Ethan's friend party.  I love seeing them playing basketball and hanging out.  Unfortunately, our hoop had a little breakage this night :(

June 12th- The kids and I headed to Cowabunga only to have an extra bonus of a Coke truck there that would put your name on Coke cans :)

June 15th- Lizzie started tennis lessons with some of her friends. :)

June-Lilly discovered poem books and Shel Silverstein.
