Halloween
10/31/16

This year I didn't have to work on Halloween.  This meant I could go in and help with some classroom Halloween parties.  With twins we have to take turns with me helping out so this time it was Afton's turn to have mom.  It was lots of fun to be in her classroom for the party. 

I still snuck into Lilly's classroom and stole a picture

My parents came up Halloween night for some dinner and

to trick or treat with the girls for a little bit.

  Our rule is once your turn 12 you retire from trick or treating. 
So now both Ethan and Liz are retired. 
Ethan hung out with friends at our house and Lizzie went over to a friends after homework

Trick or treating in action

Lilly trick or treated for about one hour this year and then was done!!! 

Instead she really liked passing out candy to kids that came to our door. 

Afton on the other hand was out 3 hours with her dad :)

Carving Pumpkins

Last night we went over to my parents

for some pumpkin carving.

Earlier today the girls had some fun out in the leaves.  I am grateful for these moments of pure childhood bliss.

Duck Creek

Jim's family had a reunion at Duck Creek.  It was nice to ALL be together and let cousins get some good bonding time in.

Harrison Halloween 2016

Cornbelly's

Last Monday (10/17/16) we went to Cornbelly's as a family. 

It has become a fun little tradition to do in October.

You could go inside this creature. 

There were long dark hallways you follow.

Ethan insisted on going through the rat maze like he has done every year.  The sign says not suggested for anyone over 6 feet.  He managed to wiggle his way out. :)
