A brief glimpse of other things that went on in April....
Ethan has been trying to get enough hours in to get his license. He usually drives Jim somewhere on Sundays. On this day they headed up to the capitol and backl 4.8.18 |
Jim and I had told the girls to go outside and enjoy the nice weather. I guess this was their idea of enjoying the weather. Reading on the trampoline 4.14.18 |

20 years ago a boy named Jim proposed to a girl named Alisha. Hands down the best YES I have ever said! 4.25.18 |
Jim knows me well to celebrate our proposal day. Flowers and more importantly chocolate covered cinnamon bears :) 4.25.18 |
Ethan had a letter delivered today saying he made it for Vocal Ensemble at Hillcrest next year. We are so dang proud of him and excited for this opportunity 4.26.18 |
And more high school volleyball.... So glad he gets to play again this season. This year he had so much more confidence and his skills have totally upped their game. 4.26.18 |

His friends came over for pizza then
I dropped them all off at Leatherby's.
Afterwords they came back here
and played games for awhile.
On April 15th we had family over for a little celebration
A cake topper pep talk from his parents :) |
Ethan is so lucky to have all 4 grandparents live close by and the influence they are in his life. |
Ethan- we are so very proud of the man you are becoming and are so excited for what the future holds for you. Happy 16th birthday! Love, Mom and Dad |

Spring Break 2018- Zions and Bryce
For the past 6 of the 7 years this is who
we have been able to hang out with for Spring Break.
Some kids are missing due to college, missions or marriage.
How lucky we are to have such great friends to hang out with.
This year we hung out and explored Zions and Bryce.
April 4th-7th 2018
Day 1- Zions
She loves her dad! |
Rock climbing |
Day 2- .... Mossy Caves and Bryce
I actually like Bryce more than Zions. It is way less crowded. The scenery is stunning and I like the hiking trails better.
These two are some of my very favorite friends Jody and Julie |
It's always awesome to be able to hang out on Spring Break with good friends Ethan and Colin |
Taylor, Sophie, Liz and Savannah exploring Bryce |
This girl was such a trooper! She was the only girl (kid) that went on the extra 3 mile hike.
Our whole group went on sunrise trail and then
the group broke off to do peekaboo trail, navajo trail and bryce point.
Day 3- heading home
We like to invade restaurants on our way home:) And this picture is only half of us Henrie's Drive-In Panguitch, UT |
