4th of July- Oakley style

We had a really fun day on the 4th of July.  We woke up early and then met my parents up in Oakley for the parade.  It was fun to experience a small town parade.

Afton all ready for the parade to start

The teen parade goers :)
We showed our property to our parents and then we all hung out in the shade of our someday driveway and had lunch.

After lunch we started heading to the Polar King for shakes.
Jim and Lizzie were distracted by this fine looking lady advertising a yard sale.

Lizzie's treasure she found at the yard sale.
A monkey puppet that she let experience wind blowing in it's face on a car ride.
She has named it Judge Primate or Bananas (depending on the day)

Our evening was a BBQ with good friends and then watching some fireworks.
  Busy but definitely fun day!
