We were more than a little sad that one of our favorite rides was closed!! Well everyone was sad but Afton. She does not like the ride and actually seemed happy when she saw the sign. |

Jim with his new friend :)
The Mummy. Also one of my FAVORITE rides there!
DAY 2- THE BEACH

DAY 3-
SWAP MEET, GRIFFITH PARK AND OBSERVATORY
Jim and the kids had been planning on Saturday morning of our trip to visit a California Swap Meet.
It did not disappoint and they found some good treasures.
Up near Griffith Observatory was a pretty good spot to check out the Hollywood sign.
Family picture on our hike down.
I love watching these two bond and laugh together.
Lilly found these sunglasses on the beach and was so excited and proud to wear them on our hike the following day.
Cute girl with her new braces
Mom and Afton (age 9) on the trail
DAY 4- HONEY FARM, FISH HATCHERY, PARK
LOS ANGELES TEMPLE
Somehow we still managed to find something with bees and honey while on vacation for Jim :)
Checking out and feeding the fish at the hatchery
Ha! Ha! We found it pretty funny this is the Snickers Liz got during our picnic lunch :)
Parks and 9 year old just go together.
The Los Angeles Temple Visitor's Center was pretty awesome!
So gorgeous!
I'm glad the temple was our last stop before heading to the airport. Perfect ending to our vacation.
