Before this month disappears and we get into the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, I thought I better post a little bit what we have been up to in November.

Afton got her very first journal.
I thought this was the cutest thing that she wrote on the very first page. |

These candlestick holders are a reminder of how lucky I am to have some awesome friends.
A few weeks ago I was with my friend Jody Hadfield and said how much I loved these candlestick holders. Well she brought them over the other day and gave them to me just because.
Seriously, so lucky! |

Once the weather gets colder my children seem to amp up their creative ideas. This is how Lizzie kept herself busy one night. She has a whole bunch of plastic cockroaches (don't ask :) and decided to give them all rides on her Squinkies ferris wheel. |
|
One night I was trying to get dinner ready and Lilly was busy at the table playing with Scrabble tiles. She would keep asking when dinner was done and I would keep answering just a few more minutes. This was her hint I guess that it was time to eat :) |
|
Lizzie had an optional school assignment of no electronics for a week. Jim and I decided to have it be for all our kids. So for a week there was no TV, Wii, Kindle, or computer time. I was really impressed how well the kids played together and kept themselves busy. Here are the 3 girls discovering again how much they liked Rainbow Looms. It has probably sat in their room for 6 months before this day when they discovered it was cool again. |

This boy had another birthday!!!! We kinda celebrated all weekend ( and then some) which included going out to dinner with friends, going to see the Wizard of Oz, had a family party celebrating with Morgan and went to USwirl. |
|
Reflections time at the girls school. They all moved on to the next level (Yeah!!). Afton and Lilly in dance and Lizzie in Film Productions. Here is a cute note Lilly wrote the next day about what she thinks about Reflections. |
|
Afton and Lilly have really gotten into helping me cook.
Here is Lilly keeping those noodles stirred :) |

Perhaps this will go down as one of my funniest/ most random days at work EVER!!! A cute little 1st grader came in saying he didn't feel well and wanted to call home. Before the phone could even start ringing he threw up all over the phone, all over my desk and all over the floor. Here is the awesome custodian Elisa cleaning it all up for me. She was my hero that day. Office had to be closed off for the rest of the day. Me and the other secretary just spent the rest of the day laughing at the chances of something like that happening. |
|
Me and my friend/ boss/ school principal spent a Saturday driving up to Hooper Utah to get a couch for her house. We stopped at this drive in called Burger Bar to get a little lunch. Apparently it was on an episode on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dive Ins. We decided to try fried mushrooms and they were so good!!! We also had hamburgers, fries, drinks and a shake. It was a good day. |
|
So they also served Rabbit and Camel Burgers. I wasn't quite brave enough to try them. |
|
And now here comes the Christmas season......
Lizzie has been busy making holiday stuff out of Play-Doh.
I think she did pretty good. |
